♨핫클립♨ 아 나 또 주단 듣네.. 기억조작하게 만드는 그만의 美친 매력...☆ 배아픈 이승윤 비하인드|싱어게인|JTBC 2102... More about singer Lee Seung Yoon.

Lee Seung-Yoon (Korean Born; August 21, 1989) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and the vocalist of an indie, rock-band Alary-Kansion.

He has come into the spotlight after many years since his debut thanks to the hit TV show, Sing Again by JTBC, which began airing on November 16, 2020.

As the show does not allow the singers to reveal their names until they get to the TOP 10, he still performs as singer No.30.He has immediately garnered a fanbase of all age groups since his first performance, which was a cover of Park Jin-young 'Honey' interpreted in his own unique style. After seeing the performance, the young female judges were not shy about commenting their own thoughts about the singer's "sexy" appealing. However, the other judges zoomed in on his musical talent and potential, which moved him up to the next round with 7 Agains.

In Round 2, where he performed duo with singer No.63, they chose Shin Hae-chul 'After the Play' and performed the song with maximum flair. The head of the judges You Hee-yeol praised that despite the entirely different style of arrangement, they managed to keep the experimental spirit Shin Hae-chul had showcased with the song some 30 years ago. The duo received a rave response from the viewers as well as the judges and safely moved on to the next round.

In Round 3, the two singers who sang as a duo in the previous round were pit against each other. No.63 opted for a straightforward, authentic ballad whereas No.30 stepped up another notch and boldly took the challenge by choosing Lee Hyo-Ri's 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', a dance number, and turning it into a completely unconventional performance. His performance left some judges awestruck while the rest were a bit confused. The divide in the judges' responses led to the victory of No.63, sending No.30 to the elimination candidate pool. Thanks to the great anticipation for his creativity and originality on the part of judges, however, he joined the other two contestants who got saved from elimination to compete with the remaining contestants in the next round. In the trailer for the next round, which is the round where the TOP 10 will be decided, No.30 abandoned his somewhat modest and toned down persona and declared with utmost determination that he would make it into TOP 10.

Lee Seung-yoon crowned the winner of JTBC’s 'Sing Again'

Lee Seung-yoon was crowned the winner of JTBC’s hit audition program “Sing Again” (2020-21) and took home prize money of 100 million won ($89,000).

In the final episode of “Sing Again,” which aired on Monday, Lee performed “Water” (2020) by Lee Juck. He was chosen as the winner based on the judges’ scores, early online voting and live text voting.

The usually talkative Lee could only manage to repeat the words "thank you" when he was announced as the winner. He later posted a long letter of appreciation on his social media thanking the production staff, the viewers as well as all the other contestants who took part.

Lee debuted in 2016 with his song “What Should I Steal” (translated) and released several more albums before participating in “Sing Again,” an audition program for already-debuted singers whose fame fizzled out. Lee impressed judges and viewers alike with his fresh interpretations of existing songs.

Lee’s personal background also became the center of attention when he was revealed to be the third son of Lee Jae-cheol, the former lead pastor of the 100th Anniversary Memorial Church in Mapo District, western Seoul.

Pastor Lee is considered to be one of the key figures of Korean Christianity. When information on Lee's four successful sons became public — his first son is a lawyer, his second son is a popular YouTuber, the third is now a K-pop star and the fourth is studying art — Koreans, especially parents, began to look up Pastor Lee's old sermons and speeches related to his philosophy on raising children.

Pastor Lee's book "A Father Who Learns from his Children," which was first published in 1995, was republished on Jan. 26.

The top 10 finalists of “Sing Again” will go on tour starting from March 19 in Seoul and head to 13 other major cities over the following four months. Tickets will be available on online mall Interpark from Feb. 15 at 2 p.m.

From nameless singer to audition winner: Lee Seung-yoon wins ‘Sing Again’

Lee Seung-yoon -- singer No. 30 on the JTBC audition program “Sing Again” -- was declared the winner on Monday, bringing the three-month-long competition to a close.

“Sing Again,” which aired its first episode in November, captured the audience by giving a second chance to 71 singers who had released albums in the past but never attained popularity. The singers were called by their numbers instead of their names, piquing viewers’ curiosity.

The six finalists -- Yoari (No. 47), Jeong Hong-il (No. 29), Lee So-jung (No. 11), Lee Mu-jin (No. 63), Lee Jung-kwon (No. 20) and Lee Seung-yoon (No. 30) -- delivered their final performances Monday. The winner was determined by scores from judges (40 percent), online voting before the show (10 percent) and live voting (50 percent).

Praised by the judges as a groundbreaking singer, Lee Seung-yoon, who has released a number as a soloist and is also the lead vocalist for the band Alary-Kanson, sang Lee Juck’s “Water” and received 100 million won ($89,647) in prize money. Rocker Jeong Hong-il came in second place, and Lee Mu-jin was third.

“Ironically, the name of a singer, who obsessively refused to sing cover songs because he was jealous, has been allowed to shine with numerous masterpieces. ... In my genealogy are written the names of judges, the MC, the owners of the songs that I sang during the competition and countless people,” said Lee Seung-yoon on Instagram on Tuesday morning after his win. “The finals were dedicated to the names of those who live their lives as musicians and the songs that sustained me. Thank you for making me jealous, for making me want to sing.”

Lee is the son of well-known pastor Lee Jae-cheol.

The audition show was not without controversy. Before Monday’s live episode, which attained a viewership rating of 10 percent, one of the contestants, Yaori, was accused of being a bully in middle school. A post that appeared in an online community on Sunday said Yaori had to leave school because of the troubles she caused.

Yaori denied the claims and was allowed to continue competing. She placed fourth in points from the judges, but ended up in sixth place after the online votes were tallied.

Meanwhile, the final episode of “Sing Again” will air Monday, with behind-the-scenes stories of the auditions and the contestants.

The top 10 contestants will begin a nationwide concert tour across 14 different cities, starting with concerts at the Seoul Olympic Park from March 19 to 21. Tickets for the Seoul concert will be available through Interpark starting Feb. 15 at 2 p.m.
